Banners are often a long strip of material (fabric, canvas, polyester or vinyl) bearing a slogan or design, carried in a demonstration or procession or hung in a public place. They can be one-sided or two-sided. Often have hems to protect the edges and grommets to aid in attaching to fences etc.

Banners can also be displayed using pull-up banner stands, or hung from the ceiling.
